the future planet - the black and white world.
where only your imagination can inject colour, texture, pattern and surface via the imagination goggles.
todays notes -
- imagination is our currency - credits are awarded for creativity where you can exchange for new items of clothing, hair styles and accessories that are stored in your virtual inventory. mass production no longer exists - it's all in your imagination. goggles act as a way of portraying your thoughts.
- the goggles allow you to visualise your perfect world yet you can trade credits to experience other peoples worlds.
- a small light is shown at the front of the goggles to show individuals feeling/mood (like sim diamonds)
- via social groups you are able to establish beliefs and morals that form part of your creative identity.
- creativity is key.

I have a small box that belongs specifically to me and my children. I bought it from a charity shop and inside is love. When we feel quite abundant we put a little love into the box, you can't see it but you can feel it. And if we are feeling a little sad or tired or cranky we can open the lid and out of the box comes all the love that we have been saving for just such a rainy day. It's another favourite object. It's also looking at the nature of invisible, conceptual ideas and notions and how imagination can free us from physical boundaries. Our project Future Textiles is a chance to go beyond today to create a fabricated future.
